What are Transformation Services?
Transformational leadership work typically spans an entire healthcare system or hospital and may include:
- strategic re-positioning
- operational efficiencies

- improved clinical outcomes
- organizational culture enhancements
- developing community partnerships
- employee engagement
- provider satisfaction
- financial improvements
- others, depending on the organization
Some healthcare systems have hired and given a title to this work – Chief Transformation Officer – whose mission is to organize and lead this work across the enterprise while serving as a thought partner/advisor to the Senior Leadership Team. It allows the organization to develop, organize, execute, and monitor results in a swift manner that allows for more immediate results.
This role is not typically a permanent position and quite often is in place for 1 to 3 years depending on the overall goals of the organization.
